Tabletop Smart Factory RFID/Sensors Learning System, AB L16: 87-TMS5AB1

Amatrol’s Tabletop Smart Factory RFID/Sensors Learning System, AB L16 (87-TMS5AB1) is an integral part of the Tabletop Smart Factory training line and is used to teach about RFID operation and programming, smart pressure sensors, and smart photoelectric sensors. The Smart Factory RFID/Sensors Learning System includes an RFID read station, smart photoelectric sensor, smart analog pressure sensor, IO-Link Master, conveyor, motor contactor, and cabling set.

Learning Topics

  • RFID Operation
  • RFID Programming
  • IO-Link Master Configuration
  • RFID Function Block Instruction
  • PLC Comparison Instruction
  • Smart Pressure Sensors
  • Vacuum Sensor PLC Projects
  • Smart Photoelectric Sensors

Study Smart Factory Components and Practice on Real-World Equipment

Utilizing the smart factory technology on this smart sensor system requires Amatrol’s Tabletop Smart Factory Station 3 (87-TMS3) with a PLC (870-PTAB82), a Portable PLC Troubleshooting Learning System (990-PABCL1F), an Ethernet Learning System (87-TENAB2), and a Flexible Workstation Package (88-200-3 or 88-200-4).

This combination of Amatrol training systems will allow learners to develop skills like: entering and operating a Rockwell Studio 5000 PLC Logic program that uses a message instruction; designing a PLC project that uses RFID to sort parts; designing a smart factory PLC project that uses a smart pressure/vacuum sensor; and operating a PLC project that uses a smart photoelectric sensor.

Highly-Interactive Multimedia Format Appeals to All Learning Styles

The included eLearning course (M25155) offers a perfect complement to instill the theoretical knowledge that reinforces the hands-on skills that learners will develop when using the components of the Smart Factory RFID/Sensors Learning System. Learners will cover topics like: factors that affect RFID system operation; how to configure an IO-Link Master in a PLC project; the operation of PLC comparison instruction; the operation of a smart pressure sensor in a PLC project; and how to configure a smart photoelectric sensor in a PLC project.

Amatrol’s curriculum features a highly-interactive, multimedia format that includes stunning 3D graphics and videos, voiceovers of all text, and interactive quizzes and exercises designed to appeal to learners with different learning styles. The combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills solidifies understanding and creates a strong basis for pursuing more advanced skills.
