Instructor’s Course Overview:

This course is for college, industry, vocational and university level instructors who teach the concepts and skills of residential heat pumps including troubleshooting. This course features hands-on familiarization with Amatrol’s T7130 Residential Mini-Split Heat Pump Learning System and curriculum in multimedia format. This covers the critical hands-on skills needed to prepare HVACR technicians when working with residential ductless (“mini-split”) HVAC systems. Learners will work with real equipment, such as: a heat pump condenser, evaporator unit, thermostat, panel-mounted gauges, and condensate pump.
