Amatrol’s 87-MS1, Mechatronics Pick and Place Feeding, is station 1 of the 870 Mechatronics Learning System. The 87-MS1 station is a small mechatronics system in itself with multiple, integrated technologies that can be used stand-alone or in combination with other stations. Industrial safety and operation are emphasized on all Amatrol mechatronic stations.
This course covers smart photoelectric sensors. Learners will study smart sensor function, smart photoelectric sensor operation, smart photoelectric sensor configuration and operation in a PLC project. (Refers to 87-SN3AB53A)
Downtime, or the time the manufacturing line is not producing, can cost thousands of dollars per minute. To minimize downtime, the technician must thoroughly understand the machines and components in his or area and be able to act quickly as failures arise. This course covers topics such as mechatronics power supply, input and output troubleshooting, as well as processor and mechatronics station troubleshooting. (Refers to 87-FTSAB53A)
Amatrol’s Vision Inspection Learning Systems teach the use of web-based maintenance communications in a Smart Factory environment. These systems use a machine vision camera to examine parts traveling through the 870-series Mechatronics system and signal a PLC to reject or accept parts based on results from the examinations. The system can be used as a standalone product, but it is highly suggested for use with one or more Mechatronics carts.
Amatrol’s Programmable Logic Controller PLC I/O Simulator Learning System – CompactLogix L16 (87-IOSAB53A) covers the operation and programming of programmable controllers, one of the most important and widely-used products in modern industry.
Amatrol’s Mechatronics HMI Terminal Learning System – CompactLogix L16 (87-HMIAB53A) teaches learners how to use a human-machine interface (HMI) to control and monitor an automated line. Used in conjunction with Amatrol’s 870 Mechatronics stations with Allen-Bradley CompactLogix L16 programmable logic controllers, this HMI terminal training system will teach current or future machine operators, maintenance technicians, and supervisory personnel how to use an HMI to control and monitor the status of a machine or process.
Amatrol’s Mechatronics Ethernet Training System – AB CompactLogix L16 (87-ENAB53A) covers the applicable skills and theory for Ethernet industrial communication networks used on automated lines in areas such as automotive, manufacturing, and packaging. Used in combination with a PC and two or more of Amatrol’s world-class Mechatronics learning stations, the 87-ENAB53A covers major Ethernet topics such as network operation, installation, and configuration, data transfers between controllers, produced and consumed data, and using the message instruction.
The Mechatronics Manual Fault Insertion Training Module (87-MF1) adds troubleshooting capabilities to Amatrol’s 870 series Mechatronics system. Mechatronics systems are used in almost every industry including manufacturing, material processing, and packaging.
