Instructor’s Course Overview: Foundation Technologies is a course for college, industry, and high school instructors who teach the basic concepts and skills using an array of essential technologies. The course features hands-on familiarization with some of Amatrol’s basic skills training systems as well as curriculum in an interactive multimedia format. It features hands-on familiarization with learning systems in AC/DC electricity, pneumatics, machining, electrical control, electrical fabrication, measurement tools, and mechanical fabrication.
Attendees will explore each technology and the learning materials associated with it. The course will also cover how to track skills as well as how to apply these technologies in a variety of situations such as preparing students for a certification exam like MSSC’s certified production technician. Attendees will learn through a combination of individualized, hands-on learning with trainers in each technology and group instruction of concepts and principles.
