Instructor Course Overview: This course is for college, industry, vocational, and university level instructors who have taught fluid power, both hydraulics and pneumatics, and wish to develop skills in fluid power troubleshooting and advanced fluid power systems. The course builds on the concepts presented in Amatrol’s Fluid Power Basics Instructor Training. It features hands-on familiarization with Amatrol’s training system for hydraulic troubleshooting (model 950-HT1 and 950-HTB1), pneumatic troubleshooting (model 950-PT1 and 990-PTB1), and Hydraulic Maintenance (950-HM1).
Students will practice troubleshooting and maintaining fluid power systems using an advanced trainers with live fault insertion capability. New hydraulic components covered include: 2-stage DCVs, counterbalance valves, sandwich valves, pressure-compensated pumps, pressure and temperature compensated flow control valves, cylinder cushions, cross-cushion relief valves, unloader valves, and hi-lo pumps. New pneumatic components covered include: filters, lubricator, regulator, rodless cylinders, air-over-oil systems, quick exhaust valves, and vacuum systems.
Attendees will learn through a combination of individualized, hands-on learning with hydraulic trainers and group instruction of concepts and principles.
