Amatrol President Paul Perkins is pleased to announce that Amatrol will now offer a new rental option for its popular multimedia eLearning curriculum. Offering more options and increased flexibility to customers, the new multimedia eLearning curriculum rental program officially launched on December 30, 2020.
Amatrol’s new rental option for its multimedia eLearning will allow a customer to rent a single license for one or more locally-installed Flash or WebGL eLearning titles for a time period of two, four, six, or twelve months. Amatrol believes this added flexibility will be a great benefit to customers who need or prefer locally-installed multimedia because of Internet access issues.
Once the rented Flash or WebGL eLearning title is downloaded and locally-installed on a customer’s computer or server, it can then be used by an unlimited number of users for the term of the rental. Amatrol believes the new rental option may be particularly beneficial to programs facing budgetary constraints.
Over the course of 2020, Amatrol has been hard at work converting the current version of its multimedia eLearning library to a new WebGL platform due to the fact that Adobe’s widely-used Flash web plug-in will cease operation on December 31, 2020. Customers wishing to use an older Flash version of curriculum will still be able to do so only if they purchase the title or use Amatrol’s new rental option.
