The 94-QC1 consists of a heavy-duty, table-top workstation with industrial-quality hand-held gauging tools, an electronic gauging unit, modular fixtures, and test parts. The 94-QC1 features an abundance of real-world measurement tools such as: dial caliper, micrometer, dial indicator, digital caliper, decimal rule, metric rule, and tape measure. These tools will be used to test, measure, and analyze a variety of test components including seven rods, four discs, three plates, and twenty-three shafts. This system also includes a modular gauging system with adjustable flat and V supports and anvil carrier assemblies.

The Manufacturing Quality Assurance Testing training allows learners to practice a wide array of hands-on skills that will prepare them for on-the-job success. These skills are important because the ability to produce a high quality product begins with the capacity to determine if the products meet an exact quality standard. Some of these skills include: measuring the length of a shaft using a digital indicator, analyzing a histogram, creating a cause and effect diagram as part of a brainstorming process, calculating the limits of a dimension given its tolerance, determining if a produced hole is within tolerance given data, and measuring the circularity of a shaft using an indicator.
