Practice Hands-On PLC Motor Control Skills

Learners will use the PLC Motor Control training system to practice a variety of hands-on electrical and PLC skills to build real-world, applicable competencies for industry. Some of these skills include: open and view a PLC project, create and enter a PLC program, enter and operate a PLC program that uses internal input and output instructions, enter and operate a PLC program that uses an on-delay and off-delay PLC timer instructions, and many more!

Even More Learning Expansions for Electric Motor Control!

The PLC Motor Control training system is just one option for electrical motor control training. Other options include Motor Braking (85-MT5A), Reduced Voltage Starting (85-MT5B), Variable Frequency AC Drive (85-MT5C), Electronic Sensors (85-MT5D), Electronic Counter (85-MT5E), and SCR Speed Control (85-MT5F).

Interactive PLC Motor Control eLearning Curriculum

Amatrol's PLC motor control training system features interactive eLearning curriculum that integrates various types of learning methods to create an engaging, effective learning experience. Amatrol’s multimedia eLearning curriculum includes text with voiceovers, videos, 3D animations, pictures, and interactive activities, quizzes, and self-reviews. Specific PLC motor Control topics covered include: programmable logic controller operation; basic PLC programming; PLC motor control; and PLC timer and counter instructions. Within these topics, learners will study objectives like running and monitoring a PLC project; entering and editing a PLC program; entering and operating a PLC program for a reversing motor control; and describing the operation of a time-driven sequence PLC program.

Free Learning Management System (LMS)

Amatrol eLearning is easy-to-use for both students and instructors. Its web-based interface is simple to navigate and available on any WebGL-compatible Internet browser. Instructors love Amatrol eLearning for its simple, yet sophisticated Learning Management System (LMS). The LMS allows instructors to create custom courses, monitor student participation, track course progress, assess knowledge levels prior to a course, and test knowledge levels after completion. Learners appreciate the fact that they can start and stop as needed, moving through each Amatrol course at their own pace. If a self-review reveals that they didn’t understand a particular topic as well as they thought they did, they can revisit it before moving on.
