Amatrol Selected for President’s “E” Award for Export Excellence

Washington, D.C. – Amatrol, the world’s leader in skills-based, interactive technical learning, is proud to announce our selection as the 2014 President’s “E” Award for Exports by the United States Department of Commerce. This award was created in 1961 to recognize “persons, firms, or organizations which contribute significantly in the effort to increase United States exports.”

The President’s “E” Award was presented to Amatrol Chief Executive Officer, Paul Perkins, and Amatrol’s International Sales Manager, Mark Hubbs, on May 28, 2014 at the Herbert C. Hoover Building in Washington D.C.

Penny Pritzker, the United States Secretary of Commerce, said, “Amatrol’s achievements have undoubtedly contributed to national export expansion efforts that support the U.S. economy and create American jobs.”

Amatrol develops competency-based learning systems with industrial, real-world components that enable learners to practice actual skills that they’ll perform on the job, such as troubleshooting, system programming and adjustment. Amatrol combines this equipment with cutting-edge, interactive multimedia curriculum that fully engages learners and develops a depth of both theoretical concepts and hands-on skills. Amatrol’s learning systems teach skills in electrical, fluid power, mechanical, HVAC, green energy, automation, electronics, process control, and many more.

This award selection is a testament to Amatrol’s demonstrated measurable results, innovative approaches to expanding exports through product development, sustainable growth, and strong demonstration of a broad impact on the global workplace.
