Technical Curriculum Developer

Technical Training Developer (Curriculum): HVAC, Electrical, or Mechanical Areas.

Are you looking for more meaning in your work and the opportunity to learn something new about cutting-edge technologies pretty much every day? Do you have a good understanding of technologies like HVAC, fluid power, mechanical power transmission, or electrical/electronic controls (to name just a few) and find you have a talent for explaining them to others?

Amatrol is looking for subject matter experts in several technology fields who enjoy developing ways to explain technical concepts so that everyone can understand and apply them – you make complex topics easy to understand at both basic and advanced levels. Technical Curriculum Developers take it one step further than explaining the concepts – they also develop hands-on technical skills in partnership with our engineering development team.

Not everyone can do this. First and foremost, success as a technical curriculum developer requires subject matter expertise in one technical area such as the ones noted above. The ability to explain a technical concept is critical. And while we’d prefer you have some technical writing experience, we can teach you our proven approach which we publish in a highly interactive multimedia format. Do you have the uncommon talents of being a technical expert and being able to explain it to those who don’t understand it?

Come help us transform the global workforce. We need you to develop more of the technical training materials that are helping people get jobs, keep jobs, and improve their lives. The skills gap in the industry is real – great paying jobs go vacant because applicants don’t have the skills needed. You’ll find us in colleges, vocational schools, high schools, and industry alike. Want to help change some lives, especially your own? Apply today!
