Product Photographer | Amatrol

Amatrol is currently looking for a full- time or part- time photographer who will produce, edit, and organize photos for the company, including photos of products, classes, events, and employees. The successful candidate will also produce and edit videos for our marketing and curriculum departments.

What does Amatrol do?

Amatrol designs, develops and manufactures technical training systems, highly interactive eLearning, hands-on simulators, and more to train tomorrow’s global workforce for many diverse industries such as manufacturing, oil and gas, packaging, etc. Colleges, universities, and high schools as well as companies use our made-in-the-USA products to teach individuals technical and workplace skills ranging from entry level basic technical skills to advanced technology troubleshooting for both degree and certification preparation.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop and maintain professional photographs of Amatrol products suitable for all marketing and curriculum media, including print books, electronic books, sales brochures, posters, websites, multimedia, etc.
  • Produce and edit videos for use in curriculum and marketing materials.
  • Create both formal and candid photographs of Amatrol events and employees suitable for marketing and corporate media, including press releases, sales brochures, posters, websites, etc.
  • Maintain department records and reports as needed.

The full- time position offers:

  • 40 hour work week.
  • Day shift with weekends off.
  • Benefits including 3 weeks of paid time off in the first year.

The part- time position offers:

  • 16 to 24 hours per week
  • Day shift with weekends off
  • Potential to become full- time if both parties are in agreement.

How do you get the job?

  • Minimum of 2 years of product photography experience.
  • Excellent photography skills including camera operation, lighting, and composition for large and small scale applications involving both people and products.
  • Experience with video capture, including DSLR and Camcorder equipment, various stabilization and motion techniques, and lighting and audio techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of Photoshop interface, features, and techniques. Ability to edit and retouch variety of photos.
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
  • Excellent organizational skills including ability to work independently with high level of self-motivation and produce detailed work accurately.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint: able to create documents, use basic functions effectively, and leverage key features such as headers, footers, hyperlinks, etc.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor degree preferred.
