Entry Level Electrical Design Engineer | Amatrol

Amatrol is currently seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Design Engineer.

What will you be doing?

  • Research, design and test instrumentation and process control training systems using real world industrial process control standards and components
  • Collaborate with other groups in the company to plan and design new products from conception to completion
  • Create and update production documentation (mechanical/electrical/assembly drawings, bills of material, test procedures, etc.) to be used in the manufacture of product designs
  • Modify equipment designs and software to improve operation, improve cost, improve efficiency, or replace obsolete components
  • Assist in troubleshooting and developing solutions to support the manufacturing team
  • Occasional travel (5 to 10%) to our sister companies will be required. (DAC Worldwide in Swedesboro, NJ and Bayport Technical in La Porte, TX)

What do you need to be considered for the job?

  • BS Electrical Engineering degree
  • PLC programming experience: Rockwell or Siemens preferred
  • Strong computer and programming skills; Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Organized individual who is self-motivated and can work independently
  • Strong problems solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Jeffersonville, IN
  • Experience working in the process control industry performing design work preferred.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
