Advanced PLC Programming -
Allen Bradley
ControlLogix Instructor Training Course

Course Overview:  This course is designed for college, industry, vocational, and university level instructors who have taught programmable controllers and wish to develop skills in troubleshooting, advanced program commands, and system design. The course builds on the concepts presented in Amatrol's Basic Programmable Controller Instructor's Course. It features hands-on familiarization with Amatrol's training systems for programmable controller programming, applications, and troubleshooting (models 89-AB5500-B ControlLogix series and 890-PEC series).

SLC500 Training System
Students will study a number of advanced areas and learn how to troubleshoot programmable controller systems using an advanced programmable controller trainer with live fault insertion capability. Topics include: EtherNet, PanelView, ControlNet, and DeviceNet. Attendees will learn through a combination of individualized, hands-on learning with programmable controller trainers and group instruction of concepts and principles.
Pre-Requisites:   Basic Programmable Controllers - Allen-Bradley ControlLogix Instructor Training Course. This course is offered in the week prior to the Mechatronics class. Instructors must attend this course before attending this class.
Course Length: 36 Hours
Daily Schedule: Mon. thru Thurs. 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; Fri 8:00am to 12:00 pm
Course Tuition: $895 (if not included with equipment purchase)
Administratrive Fee: $125 (includes hotel-to-plant shuttle, lunch, course materials)
